ZPJE successfully support the startup of its CCR exchanger in Malaysia HRC unit.

On August 11, 2023, after the overhaul of the reforming unit at Malaysia Hengyuan  Refinery (HRC), the unit was successfully started. During this turnaround, the existing Texas Tower of CFE E-451 was replaced with ZPJE's STHE. After the equipment was put into use, the recorded performances were excellent and met the design requirements. This is another successful application of ZPJE's STHE in an overseas reforming revamping project.

In early August, as part of contract scope of supply , ZPJE sent its experts to site to provide technical services for the training, inspection and start-up of the Combined Feed Exchanger. 

ZPJE's experts carried out a detailed inspection of the installation, introducing the structural characteristics and technical advantages of STHE in detail. They also provided training sessions on start-up and shutdown procedures and shared the successfully feedback of ZPJE’s STHE installation on other reforming units.

The professional skill and knowledge of ZPJE experts during the startup of the unit has been fully appreciated by the owner.

According to the owner's calculation, after replacing the Texas Tower, due to the significant reduction in HAT of the STHE, the fuel gas consumption of the heaters is reduced by nearly 25% compared to the original equipment, and more than $2 million in fuel gas costs can be saved annually.
